Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that Amad Traore will be able to officially join the club at the turn of the year.

Traore was signed from Atalanta on deadline day in October, but he could not join them due to passport and work permit issues.

He has got his passport sorted, but has yet to receive a work visa. Solskjaer is hopeful that the permit is finalised ahead of the winter transfer window.

"Amad has come on a few times for Atalanta lately, he is a very exciting young boy and talent and hopefully we'll get the work permit and he'll be with us in January. A very, very exciting boy as well," He told.

Alongside Traore, Facundo Pellistri was signed on deadline day by the Red Devils, but he has yet to make his first-team debut.

He has been working with the club's development squad and may have to stay patient to make the upgrade to the first-team.
