Dominik Szoboszlai turns down Arsenal for RB Leipzig
Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has reportedly turned down the likes of Arsenal and AC Milan to join RB Leipzig.
The Hungary international is regarded as one of the finest young midfielders and he has bagged eight goals and nine assists in just 19 appearances this term.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that the Gunners could be in the running to sign the midfielder, but The Guardian claims that Leipzig have won the race for his services.
The Bundesliga outfit were always in an advantageous position being the sister club of Salzburg and they have reportedly agreed to trigger the £23m release clause on his contract ahead of a mid-season move.
Szoboszlai's agent was contacted by both Arsenal and Milan last month, but he had made his mind up to join the Saxony outfit, who are currently third in the Bundesliga this season.
He is poised to sign a five-year deal with Julian Nagelsmann's side.
