Leicester City, West Ham United keen on signing AS Roma midfielder
Premier League duo Leicester City and West Ham United could reportedly compete for the signature of Amadou Diawara during the January transfer window.
Diawara was linked with a move away from AS Roma in the summer and it was widely suggested that Arsenal could sign him before they pursued Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
Still, the speculation over the midfielder's future has refused to cease and LaRoma24 claims that both Leicester and West Ham have been made aware that the Giallorossi are willing to sell him.
Diawara currently has more than three years remaining on his contract with the Serie A giants, but reports claim that they could offload him for just £15m at the turn of the year.
The Guinea international saw his season disrupted due to coronavirus, but he has returned to the mix over the past month. However, he has only played a substitute role in the Serie A since his comeback.
Leicester are currently fourth on the Premier League table with 21 points on the board. West Ham, meanwhile, are just one place and one point behind them, but have played an extra game more.
