AC Milan star to snub Manchester United for new Rossoneri deal
AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu is set to reject advances from Manchester United to sign a fresh long-term deal with the Serie A outfit.
The Red Devils have improved their creativity since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes last winter, but they have been over-reliant on him on occasions.
Hence, they are on the look out for another attacking midfielder and reports recently claimed that they could sign Calhanoglu on a free transfer next summer.
Calhanoglu has less than seven months remaining on his Rossoneri deal, but it appears that he has reached a compromise with the Serie A outfit to extend his contract in the near future.
The San Siro giants were reluctant to meet his £5.5m annual wage demands earlier this season, but they have now convinced him to accept a contract worth £4m per season.
Calhanoglu has registered five goals and five assists in all competitions for Stefano Pioli's side this term. The club have been in superb form in the Serie A and are currently leading the way.
