Arsenal to focus on signing ex-Tottenham Hotspur star?
Arsenal are planning a potential approach to sign Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan during the January transfer window.
The Denmark international left Tottenham Hotspur for Inter last winter, but he has since struggled to adapt to the club's style of play.
In his 38 appearances, he has registered only four goals and three assists and he has recently been placed in the transfer market.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are eager to sign a creative midfielder and Eriksen is one of the top names on their radar.
While they have the preference to land Isco from Real Madrid, the Spaniard appears keen on staying in La Liga with interest from Sevilla.
Hence, Eriksen could emerge as the prime target for the Gunners when the transfer window reopens in a couple of days' time.
Eriksen has failed to register a goal or an assist in his 12 appearances this season, the majority of which have come off the bench.
