Arsenal want Barcelona midfielder on loan?
Arsenal could attempt to sign Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig on a temporary deal next month.
The Gunners have experienced a poor Premier League campaign, but they have picked up only 20 points after 16 games into the season.
They have recently gained momentum with back-to-back wins, but reports claim that Mikel Arteta is still keen on January reinforcements.
A creative midfielder is one of the prime targets for the club and they have recently been linked with Real Madrid's Isco.
According to AS, they are also said to be interested in Puig, who has fallen down the selection order under Ronald Koeman this term.
The young Spaniard has managed just 80 minutes of first-team football and it is claimed that he has had a bust-up with the head coach.
Puig has made just 19 appearances in his Barcelona career, contributing three assists.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye of Arteta and the Gunners could look to sign him on loan with the option to buy in the summer.
