Liverpool planning summer move for Jadon Sancho?

Jadon Sancho news

Sancho wanted by Liverpool?

Liverpool could offer stiff competition to Manchester United in the pursuit of Jadon Sancho at the end of the season.

The England international was the Red Devils' prime target last summer but they were unable to negotiate his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

United were reluctant to pay more than £50m citing the financial impact of COVID-19, but Dortmund held firm on their £108m price tag.

The club are likely to return for his services next summer, but Que Golazo claims that the Reds are also monitoring his progress.

Sancho has experienced a tough league campaign where he has failed to either contribute a goal or an assist for Dortmund.

However, things have been different in the Cup competitions with four goals and five assists in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.

His current contract expires in the summer of 2023 and Fabrizio Romano has claimed that he will leave Dortmund at the end of this season.

While United are long-term admirers, it is claimed that Sancho may have the preference to join Jurgen Klopp's side.
