Frank Lampard confirms Reece James absence for Manchester City clash
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Reece James won't play any part for the Blues in tomorrow's Premier League clash against Manchester City.
The Blues have recently been in a poor run of form and they have picked up only four points from the previous five league games.
As a result, they find themselves seven points behind the top spot and they will be hoping to return to winning ways against the Cityzens.
Prior to the game, however, Lampard has confirmed that James has been ruled out with a minor hamstring problem.
"Reece James is out, he’s got a small hamstring problem," He told in the pre-match press conference via Chelseafc.com.
The Blues have struggled against teams in the top half of the table and West Ham United are the only side they have beaten this term.
They face a tough test against Pep Guardiola's side at Stamford Bridge despite the visitors missing several players due to COVID-19.
