Former Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has no plans of returning to the Premier League with Manchester City in the summer.

The Cityzens are likely to pursue a new striker as club-record goalscorer Sergio Aguero could leave when his contract expires in June.

Hence, Lukaku has been identified as one of the top targets, but the Belgian has no desire to return to the English top-flight, The Express claims.

The marksman spent eight years in the Premier League with Chelsea, Manchester United, Everton and West Bromwich Albion.

He made the switch to Inter from United in the summer of 2019 and has since netted 51 goals from just 73 appearances.

Lukaku has settled well under the guidance of Antonio Conte and he is looking forward to winning silverware with Inter in the long-run.

Aside from Lukaku, his teammate Lautaro Martinez has also been linked with the Cityzens in the past and he could re-emerge as an option.

Martinez has a release clause worth £95m on his Inter deal which will become active at the end of the current campaign.
