Real Madrid attacker close to Arsenal loan move
Real Madrid attacker Martin Odegaard is reportedly close to securing a loan move to Arsenal this month, a report from Sport claims.
The Norway international impressed on loan with Real Sociedad last term where he registered seven goals and nine assists from 36 games.
However, he has struggled since his return to the Bernabeu and has been limited to just over 350 minutes across all competitions.
Hence, he is looking to pursue another temporary move away from the club and Sport reports that the Gunners are close to signing him.
The north London giants are in advanced negotiations and it is claimed that the playmaker could soon take the flight to the English capital.
The Gunners have developed a good working relationship with Los Blancos and currently have Daniel Ceballos on loan from the La Liga holders.
It appears that Ceballos could be reunited with Odegaard at Arsenal before the transfer window closes on February 1.
