Arsenal provide injury boost ahead of Leeds game
Arsenal have been provided an injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United this weekend.
The Gunners recently suffered a second straight league defeat after a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on the road.
This has dropped them to 11th on the table and they are one point behind Leeds whom they host at the Emirates on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, the north London side have received a boost with The Athletic claiming that Thomas Partey has avoided a serious injury.
The midfielder has suffered multiple thigh injuries this term and it appeared that he picked up a similar problem last weekend.
Partey has spent at least a month on the sidelines each time, but the latest setback is only a minor one and he could return in the near future.
It is unclear whether he will be deemed fit to face the Whites. Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney is also close to making his comeback from a lower leg injury.
