Manchester United star signs new deal until June 2025
Manchester United have confirmed that Mason Greenwood has committed his long-term future to the club.
The 19-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a fresh four-year contract with the option for another 12 months.
"I’ve worked so hard to reach this level and the last two years have been amazing," he told the club's official website.
"I want to thank the academy for everything they have done for me and for their continued support to this day."
Greenwood made his debut as a 17-year-old against Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 and he has since turned out 81 occasions for the club.
He has excelled during this period with 21 goals and 10 assists and is regarded as someone, who could lead the line in the long-run.
Greenwood has largely played on the right side of the attack but he was a regular striker previously for the Under 23s.
He is likely to make the starting line-up when the Red Devils face Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 32 first leg on Thursday.
