Chelsea have made contact with outgoing Bayern Munich star
Chelsea have reportedly made contact with David Alaba, who is set to leave Bayern Munich when his contract expires in June.
Earlier today, Alaba confirmed that he would end his 13-year association with Bayern to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with Alaba in the past but 90min claims that the Blues are the only Premier League side to contact him.
The west London side are prepared to offer him wages of more than £300,000-a-week, but their chances of signing him are bleak.
The Austrian has his sights on signing for his dream club in Real Madrid and talks are an advanced stage with the Spanish champions.
Los Blancos have only proposed a salary of around £215,000-a-week but Alaba is said to be content as he is desperate to play for them.
According to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano, he is set to sign a four-year deal with Los Blancos and the announcement is expected anytime soon.
