Edinson Cavani makes Manchester United transfer decision
Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani is eager to extend his contract with Manchester United for another season at least.
The 34-year-old joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in October and he has since scored seven goals from 24 appearances.
His current deal expires at the end of June, but United have the option of extending his stay for another 12 months.
A recent report suggested that Cavani is on the radar of Boca Juniors but the striker appears determined to continue with the Red Devils.
United are expected to pursue a young striker this summer and that may directly impact the playing time of the former Paris Saint-Germain man.
Still, that does not appear to concern him and he is expecting United to announce the extension of his contract in the coming weeks.
Cavani is currently out on the sidelines with a muscle injury and he will miss out on the Europa League meeting against Real Sociedad on Thursday.
