Henderson or De Gea could leave this summer

Manchester United will reportedly consider parting ways with either David De Gea or Dean Henderson when the transfer window reopens.

Henderson impressed on loan for two seasons with Sheffield United and he has now established himself as the deputy to De Gea.

De Gea's performances have come under criticism every now and then but he has still started regularly between the sticks.

According to The Sun, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is uncomfortable with the goalkeeping situation and will allow either to leave on loan or permanently.

As things stand, De Gea continues to remain first-choice and Henderson could be the player heading for the exit door in the search for regular game time.

Henderson is regarded as one of England's best goalkeepers but he needs regular first-team football to boost his chances of starting for the national side.

Jordan Pickford is currently the undisputed choice in goal for the Three Lions while Nick Pope is regarded by many as the closest competitor to the Everton man.
