Man United set to end Aarons pursuit

Manchester United may cool their interest in Max Aarons after learning of the asking price set by Norwich City.

The Red Devils are likely to spend on three new signings this summer and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a new right-back to compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Aarons has been identified as one of the top targets but The Express claims that they may be reluctant to meet his valuation.

The Canaries are said to demand around £35m for the England youth international and have no desire to re-negotiate the sum.

Hence, it is claimed that the Red Devils may end their pursuit of the 21-year-old, given such a figure could hamper the signing of a centre-back.

Solskjaer is understood to prioritise a new central defensive partner for Harry Maguire and the club are assessing their options at the moment.

Sevilla's Jules Kounde has been on the radar but a deal appears unlikely with United's put off by the staggering £68m price tag.
