Arsenal make transfer decision on 28-year-old
Arsenal will reportedly look to sign goalkeeper Mat Ryan on a permanent basis from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
The Australia international was a surprise loan signing from the Seagulls in January and he has since made just one appearance.
That came in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Aston Villa on the road where he was impressive with as many as seven saves.
According to Football.London, the Gunners hierarchy will aim to sign the 28-year-old permanently at the end of the season.
Ryan was completely out-of-favour at Brighton when he was loaned out and the Gunners will be aiming to pursue him for a nominal fee.
The Gunners recently drew 1-1 against Burnley away from home after Granit Xhaka gifted the Clarets the equaliser with a howler.
They will be in Europa League action on Thursday night where they face Olympiacos in the first leg of the last 16 on the road.
The Greek outfit eliminated them from the competition on away goals last term and the Gunners will be aiming for a better showing in Piraeus.
