Chelsea could keep hold of Fikayo Tomori this summer unless AC Milan are willing to pay the buy clause in full.

The England international joined the Rossoneri on loan in January with the option to buy for £26m.

Tomori has impressed in his short time in the Serie A and the club are already looking into a permanent transfer.

According to Goal.com, the Milan giants will need to pay the £26m asking price in full and the Blues won't entertain any discounts.

The failure to do so may see the return of Tomori to the west London club and he could be integrated into Thomas Tuchel's plans next season.

Tomori was loaned out under former boss Frank Lampard and many of the club's hierarchy are said to regret the decision.

It is reported that Lampard played a role in the defender's move to San Siro. He was sacked days later with Tuchel taking over at the helm.
