Chelsea, Manchester City learn Romelu Lukaku price tag

Chelsea and Manchester City will need to pay around €120m in order to convince Inter Milan to part ways with Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgium international joined the San Siro outfit from Manchester United in 2019, and he has since been a consistent performer.

He has netted 59 goals from just 85 appearances, and he is leading the club's pursuit of a maiden Serie A title since 2010.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are not actively looking to sell Lukaku, who has been pivotal to their league campaign.

However, they may be forced to offload at least one star player with their losses currently standing at more than €130m.

They need to balance their financial books before June to avoid FFP sanctions, and Lukaku could be sold for €120m.

Chelsea are considering a move for their former player while Manchester City and Barcelona are also interested in the marksman.

All three clubs regard Lukaku as the back-up option in case they are unable to land the signature of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland.
