Arsenal handed Odegaard transfer boost

Arsenal have received a big boost in signing Martin Odegaard with Real Madrid prepared to sanction his departure this summer.

The Norwegian has made 12 appearances for the Gunners since his loan move in January and his performances have earned plenty of praise.

The Gunners are looking into a permanent deal at the end of the season and they have been handed a boost by Los Blancos.

According to The Times, Zinedine Zidane's side will welcome offers for the 22-year-old as they aim to recoup funds for new signings.

Odegaard has been in the fringes of the first-team under Zinedine Zidane and he is among those, who could be offloaded this summer.

Los Blancos recently held talks with Erling Haaland's agent and father, and they are aiming to lure him to the Bernabeu.

For this, they need around £130m in transfer fees alone and are planning to recoup the sum from the sale of on-loan players.

Aside from Odegaard, the likes of Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale and Brahim Diaz could be offloaded during the next transfer window.
