Chelsea could sign Italian striker for just €25m

Chelsea have received a transfer boost with Torino prepared to part ways with Andrea Belotti for €25m this summer.

The Italian has netted 103 goals in 219 appearances for the Serie A outfit, and that includes 11 from 27 outings this season.

According to Torino Granata, the Blues are long-term admirers of Belotti, and could make a formal approach to sign him.

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland has been regularly linked with the Blues, but he could cost over €130m this summer.

Belotti is reportedly the low-cost alternative for the west London club, and Torino are prepared to accept just €25m for his sale.

In the past, Torino have been reluctant to consider any offers less than the €100m release clause in the striker's contract.

However, they are no longer in a strong position to negotiate with Belotti's contract expiring in less than 15 months' time.

Belotti has also been linked with the likes of Juventus and AC Milan in the past, and there could be competition for his services.
