Arsenal keen on signing Manchester United attacker
Arsenal are reportedly looking at the prospect of signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United this summer.
The Gunners attempted to land Lingard on loan in January, but United blocked the approach as they were wary of boosting their top-four bid.
Hence, Lingard made the temporary move to West Ham United and ironically, the Hammers are now in the top-four hunt.
The 28-year-old has played a big role with eight goals and four assists from just nine games, much to the surprise of many.
According to The Sun, the Gunners are likely to compete with the Hammers for the permanent signature of the England international.
United had previously valued Lingard at around £10m, but it is now claimed that he could cost as much as £30m.
Lingard's contract with United expires at the end of next season, and they may look to offload him to boost their summer business.
The attacker has hardly played for the Red Devils since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, and his future appears away from the club.
