Arsenal identify 20-goal striker as potential Lacazette replacement
Arsenal are set to compete with Leicester City in the race to sign Odsonne Edouard from Celtic this summer.
The Gunners are expected to undergo a summer rebuild, and a number of players could head for the exit door.
According to The Telegraph, the north London giants have their sights on signing Edouard, and they are set to compete with the Foxes.
Edouard has netted 20 goals for the Hoops over the course of the season, but he is likely to be sold with his contract expiring in 14 months.
He is reportedly available between £15m and £20m. The Gunners could recoup the transfer fee from the sale of Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette's deal expires at the end of next season, and the club's hierarchy have decided against handing him an extension.
The 29-year-old has been in good form since the turn of the year, and he is the club's top-scorer with 15 goals across all competitions.
He is attracting plenty of interest. Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Sevilla and AS Roma could all compete for his signature this summer.
