Alexandre Lacazette updates on his Arsenal future
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has said that the contract negotiations with the Gunners are not only dependent on him.
The Frenchman has starred for the Gunners this term with 17 goals in all competitions, but recently suffered a hamstring injury.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Lacazette said that he has the ambition of winning a trophy with the north London giants this season.
When pressed regarding his future, the 29-year-old added that the contract discussions are also dependent on the manager and the club.
He said: "My plan is to win a trophy with the club this season and it would be easy for me to pretend to have a contract extension."
"Everything is not only on my side, there is also the club, the manager. There are different things we have to think about."
Lacazette suffered a hamstring injury during the 1-1 Premier League draw against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
He is expected to undergo a scan on Tuesday, but things are looking bad at the moment as he could miss the rest of the season.
