Chelsea, Manchester City suffer transfer blow over 27-goal striker
Chelsea and Manchester City have received a transfer blow with Romelu Lukaku content to stay with Inter Milan.
Lukaku has been in impressive form for the Nerazzurri this term, registering 27 goals and nine assists from 41 games.
He recently helped them win the league after a decade, and is pleased to continue his career with the Italian giants.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Lukaku will snub the opportunity to return to the Premier League.
Lukaku has developed a good relationship with manager Antonio Conte, and he has been a regular starter in all competitions.
Since arriving from Manchester United in the summer of 2019, he has registered 61 goals from 92 matches across all competitions.
Aside from City and Chelsea, he has also been linked with Barcelona.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are braced for losses of around £130m, and they are likely to offload multiple players this summer.
The likes of Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez have recently been linked with potential moves away from the club.
