Arsenal planning three big signings this summer?

Arsenal are reportedly planning to make three big-money signings when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Despite the setback, the hierarchy are unlikely to dismiss Mikel Arteta from the head coach role, and plan to make big-money signings.

According to The Sun, owner Stan Kroenke is prepared to spend on three marquee players in order to curb the frustration from the fans.

The Gunners have four more matches before the end of the campaign. They are currently five points adrift of the final European place.

They are facing the prospect of being without European football after 25 seasons, which would be a huge source of disappointment.

The club will be in action against West Bromwich Albion tomorrow before facing Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion.

As part of the spending spree this summer, there could be as many as nine players heading for the exit door over the coming months.
