Arsenal handed boost in Yves Bissouma pursuit
Arsenal have been handed a boost in signing Yves Bissouma with the midfielder open to leaving Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
Bissouma has spent three years with the Seagulls, but he is prepared to pursue a bigger challenge ahead of next season.
According to The Sun, the 24-year-old sees his future away from the Seagulls, and will push for an exit this summer.
Brighton are unlikely to block his departure, but are likely to demand at least £30m to part ways with the former Lille man.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked with Bissouma, but the Gunners are regarded as favourites to sign him.
They have been in contact with Bissouma's agent since January, and the midfielder is said to be a boyhood fan of the club.
The Gunners could pursue more than one midfielder this summer, and they have been heavily linked with Real Betis' Guido Rodriguez.
The Argentine has a release clause worth £56m on his contract, but could be available for much less amid Betis' financial concerns.
