West Ham United to miss out on Chelsea star?
West Ham United have been handed a blow in the pursuit of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer, TEAMtalk claims.
The Hammers are keen on landing a new marksman after offloading Sebastien Haller in January without a replacement.
Abraham has been identified as the top target for the summer, but they are likely to be priced out of a potential deal.
The Blues want around £40m for their graduate, who is their joint top-scorer this season with 12 goals across all competitions.
Abraham has played just 16 minutes since the beginning of March, but the Blues are reluctant to lower the fee.
Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the striker, but they are likely to propose a loan deal with the option to buy.
The Blues are not interested in such an agreement, but could propose to include Abraham as a makeweight for Jadon Sancho.
The club are keen admirers of the winger, but the 21-year-old favours a move to Manchester United this summer.
