Harry Kane news

Manchester United unlikely to move for Harry Kane

Manchester United have decided against an approach for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, The Mail reports.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the England international after it emerged that he wants to pursue a new challenge.

Kane could cost more than £120m, but it is reported that United will prioritise the signing of Jadon Sancho over him.

The club are focused on bolstering the wide attacking department, and have their sights on landing the Borussia Dortmund star.

Sancho could cost £80m this summer, and it is claimed that they are prepared to wait another year to land a new striker.

It is added that the club are satisfied with Edinson Cavani's displays, and may look to sign Erling Haaland in 12 months' time.

Haaland is set to remain with Dortmund for the 2021/22 campaign. A release clause worth £65m will become active next summer.

United are likely to focus on signing him with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a huge admirer of his talents. Solskjaer previously managed him at Molde.
