Leicester City beat Arsenal to the signing of Odsonne Edouard
Leicester City have won the race to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard this summer, according to The Times.
The Frenchman has 12 months remaining on his Hoops contract, and he has decided to pursue a new challenge.
Edouard has been on the radar of Arsenal and Inter in recent months, but The Times claims that he will join the Foxes.
The striker is eager to reunite with former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers, who signed him from Paris Saint-Germain.
A £15m fee will be paid by the FA Cup champions. The deal will be announced after the Hoops confirm their new manager.
Ange Postecoglou has agreed to join them, but an announcement is being delayed as he is awaiting clearance from UEFA.
The Gunners recently missed out on signing Emiliano Buendia as Aston Villa agreed a club-record deal with Norwich City.
They have suffered another transfer blow with Edouard making the decision to head to the King Power Stadium this summer.
