Newcastle in for Pennant

Kevin Keegan could make a shock move for Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant. The Newcastle boss wants to add some attacking class to his midfield and sees the former Arsenal man as his primary target.

Newcastle are looking to sign a couple of wingers next season, and a source close to the club has confirmed that they are likely to make an offer to Rafa Benitez to take Pennant.

Liverpool have been interested in other wingers on the continent and Pennant could be the one who is set to leave the club.
