Serie A giants enter talks to sign Chelsea midfielder
AC Milan have opened negotiations with Chelsea over a season-long loan move for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The 26-year-old has been with the Blues for the past four campaigns, but three of those have been away on loan.
That includes a stint with the Rossoneri in 2018/19, where he made 42 appearances across all competitions.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the San Siro outfit are keen on bringing Bakayoko back to the club this summer.
Talks are already in progress, and it is claimed that Bakayoko will need to sign a one-year extension before leaving.
Bakayoko has entered the final year of his contract with the Blues, and the club don't want to lose him for free.
They could use a similar plot to Michy Batshuayi last summer. The Belgian signed a renewal before he was loaned out.
Bakayoko arrived at Chelsea with a big reputation, but struggled to make any sort of impact during his debut campaign.
He has since been deemed surplus to requirements. He has spent the past three years on loan with Milan, Monaco and Napoli.
