Chelsea must pay £150m to sign Erling Haaland

Chelsea must pay a fee of around £150m to convince Borussia Dortmund to sell Erling Braut Haaland this summer.

The Blues are eager to sign the Norway international after they misfired in front of goal last season.

The club won the Champions League for the second time, but they were poor in converting their chances.

Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham were the top scorers with just 12 goals, and the latter is expected to leave.

According to former Norwegian star and journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, the Blues are planning a big offer for Haaland.

Dortmund are reluctant to sell, but their stance could change if the Blues table a club-record bid of around £150m.

Haaland had a sensational 2020/21 campaign for Dortmund, registering 41 goals and 12 assists from 41 games.

He has emphasised that he is happy at the club, but would consider his options if Dortmund are willing to sell.

The Blues are capable of meeting the price tag. Haaland is said to welcome the interest from the European champions.
