Chelsea defender makes permanent switch to London outfit
Crystal Palace have signed Marc Guehi from Chelsea for a reported fee of around £18 million.
The centre-back spent the previous campaign on loan with Swansea City, where he was one of the stand-out performers.
It was suggested that he would be integrated into the Blues first-team next season, but that has not been the case.
Instead, the west London giants have sanctioned his sale to the Eagles with a future sell-on clause and matching rights.
"I'm very excited, it's a great opportunity for me to come to such a big club in the Premier League," Guehi told Palace's official website.
Guehi has become the club's third signing of the transfer window after the arrivals of Michael Olise and Remi Mathews.
The south Londoners are aiming to reduce the average age of the squad, and there could be several more signings this summer.
New boss Patrick Vieira has his sights on Manchester City duo Morgan Rogers and Claudio Gomes - the latter could join on loan.
