Manchester United braced for PSG bid for Pogba

Manchester United are expecting a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Paul Pogba, The Express reports.

The Frenchman has rejected to extend his contract beyond June 2022, and he is likely to leave the Red Devils this summer.

Les Parisiens are keen on landing his signature, and they have already discussed personal terms with his agent.

It is now claimed that United are aware of the interest, and they are braced for a formal approach from the French giants.

United value Pogba at £50m. However, the Ligue 1 heavyweights are optimistic of signing him for around £43m.

Pogba has also been linked with Juventus and Real Madrid in the past, but they are not in a position to pay the fee.

Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ruben Neves has recently emerged as a potential replacement for the 28-year-old.

Neves has impressed in his three seasons in the Premier League. He could be available for a reported fee of £35m.

United could face competition from Arsenal for his signature.
