Arsenal agree to meet wage demands of Tammy Abraham

Arsenal have agreed to meet the salary demands of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, The Express reports.
The Gunners are searching for a new striker this summer with the potential exits of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
Both players have entered the final year of their deals. The club are prepared to offload them rather than lose for nothing in 2022.
According to The Express, Abraham has emerged as the top target for the Gunners, and they are making progress towards signing him.
Abraham is currently on £80,000-a-week. They have agreed to meet his wage demands of around £125,000-a-week to join them.
The Gunners will now proceed to negotiate a transfer fee with the Blues. The west London giants want at least £40 million for their graduate.
Mikel Arteta's side could propose a season-long loan deal with the obligation to buy if some conditions are met during the campaign.
Abraham has also been linked with West Ham United and Aston Villa, but both clubs have been put off by the price tag.
