Xherdan Shaqiri expected to leave Liverpool
Xherdan Shaqiri looks set to leave Liverpool amid widespread interest in signing him, Goal.com reports.
The Swiss has spent the past three seasons with the Reds, but he has made just 63 appearances in all competitions.
He has been a regular unused substitute on the bench, and is now expected to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Shaqiri recently confirmed his desire to leave. It is reported that Lazio, Sevilla and Napoli are interested in signing him.
The Reds are prepared to accept bids of around £15m for Shaqiri, who played just 819 minutes in all competitions last term.
Aside from Shaqiri, Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could also be shown the exit door in the coming weeks.
The latter is attracting interest from West Ham United, but they are only eyeing a loan deal with an option to buy.
The Reds are aiming to recoup funds before they can make some quality purchases towards the end of the transfer window.
