Brighton & Hove Albion interested in Arsenal forward
Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year-old was used sparingly during the back end of last season, and he has been tipped to head for the exit door.
Nketiah has entered the final year of his contract, but The Sun claims that the Gunners are still demanding £20 million.
Crystal Palace have pulled out of the race due to the price tag, leaving Brighton as the front-runners to sign the marksman.
Nketiah is currently nursing a minor ankle injury. The Gunners have confirmed that he could be ruled out for a month.
Despite the setback, he could be leaving the club in the coming weeks as the Gunners need funds to facilitate new signings.
They are eyeing a new striker, attacking midfielder and goalkeeper. A new right-back may depend on the future of Hector Bellerin.
The Gunners ended their pre-season campaign in a disappointing fashion with a 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on the road.
