Raphael Varane completes second part of Manchester United medical
Raphael Varane is expected to sign his Manchester United contract after completing the second part of his medical.
The Frenchman has recently undergone a series of medical tests with United after serving his quarantine period.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he is now expected to put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract with the Red Devils.
The centre-back will have the option for another 12 months. An announcement is imminent with the medical done.
Meanwhile, United have been fancied to sign a new right-back this summer, but recent reports claim that may not happen.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is satisfied with the progress of Diogo Dalot, and he could stay and compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier was the top target earlier this summer, but United were put off by the hefty demands.
They attempted to sign him for around £10 million, but Atletico made it clear that they won't accept anything less than £28m.
Trippier could still return to the Premier League with interest from Arsenal.
