Ramsdale set for Arsenal transfer?

Arsenal are close to making their fourth signing of the summer transfer window, a report from football.london claims.

The Gunners have targeted a new goalkeeper this summer, and it is now reported that they are in advanced talks for Aaron Ramsdale.

Earlier last month, they failed with a couple of bids for the 23-year-old. They have now agreed to meet the £30 million asking price.

The Gunners are expected to pay £24m up front for the shot-stopper. The remaining will be adjusted in the form of add-ons.

The north London giants have already spent over £70m on Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Ben White this summer.

A new goalkeeper has been one of the priorities. Ramsdale is likely to provide cover to Bernd Leno before taking over next season.

The club are likely to continue the spending spree in the coming weeks as they aim to sign a new striker and creative midfielder.

A new right-back could be signed if Hector Bellerin leaves the club.
