Arsenal ready to hand bumper contract to Lautaro Martinez?
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Lautaro Martinez as they look to sign him ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentine has emerged as the prime striker target for the north London giants, and there could be a bidding war.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Spurs recently made a transfer offer of around £60m. Inter are yet to respond.
The Gunners have yet to make an approach of their own, but they have agreed personal terms with the marksman.
Martinez currently earns £81,000-a-week. They are ready to pay £275,000-a-week if he makes the move to the club.
The Nerazzurri recently sanctioned the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, and they are reluctant to lose another striker.
However, their stance could change in the coming days as they are eyeing more than one striker to bolster the squad.
Edin Dzeko will arrive from Roma soon. They are also keen on Atalanta's Duvan Zapata and Fiorentina's Dusan Vlahovic.
Martinez bagged 19 goals and 11 assists from 48 games for Inter last season.
