Chelsea star edging closer to Roma transfer?

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is close to agreeing personal terms with Roma, Gianluca Di Marzio claims.

The England international has fallen down the pecking order of the Blues, and he is free to leave the club this summer.

Roma have already agreed to buy him for €35m, but it has been claimed that Abraham has yet to commit to the move.

Abraham is aware of interest from rivals Arsenal, and he has second thoughts over pursuing a new challenge in the Serie A.

It is now reported that the Giallorossi have held fresh talks, and they are confident that Abraham will agree to join them.

Jose Mourinho has spoken with the marksman, and has told him that he could make a similar impact as Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues are reluctant to sell him to rivals Arsenal. They are likely to retain a buy-back clause if he makes the switch to Roma.

Abraham is expected to make a decision in the next 48 hours.
