Manchester United winger on his way to Leeds United
Manchester United winger Daniel James is set to make the move to Leeds United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Welshman has been a long-term target for the Whites. They failed to sign him twice from Swansea City in 2019.
They are now set to land him in their third attempt. They have agreed to pay around £25m to sign the 23-year-old winger.
James will undergo his medical tests tomorrow before putting pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with the club.
Everton have also been linked with a possible move for his services, but they have not made an approach so far.
Leeds are firm favourites to sign the Welshman on deadline day, barring a shock turn of events in the next few hours.
The Whites have also been linked with Noa Lang throughout the summer, but they seem unlikely to pursue him.
Marcelo Bielsa is a huge admirer of James. He became top priority for Leeds when he became available for a transfer.
