Chelsea midfielder eyeing permanent stay at Serie A giants
Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is eyeing a permanent move to AC Milan in the long term.
The 27-year-old recently joined the Rossoneri on a two-year loan with the option to buy at the end of the stint.
Bakayoko has fond memories of the club from his previous loan in 2018/19. He is now eyeing a permanent stay.
He told reporters: "I hope to stay here even after these two years on loan, everyone knows how attached I am to this club that I consider my home."
The Blues were initially aiming to offload him permanently, but no clubs were willing to meet the €20m price tag.
Hence, they decided to hand a fresh three-year deal to the midfielder before sanctioning his loan move to the Rossoneri.
Bakayoko was a huge hit during his previous stint at the San Siro giants, and he will be hoping to make a similar impression.
He could make his second Milan debut against Lazio on Sunday.
