Liverpool have firm interest in Borussia Dortmund star

Liverpool are very interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.

The Reds lost the services of Georginio Wijnaldum this summer, but they decided against landing a replacement.

It has been reported that they could address the issue ahead of next season with Bellingham being the prime transfer target.

Bild's chief reporter Christian Falk has now confirmed that the Reds are very keen on landing the 18-year-old sensation.

However, a deal won't be easy as Dortmund may prefer to keep him for at least another campaign before selling him.

They are expected to lose Erling Braut Haaland due to a £65m buy-out clause that becomes active at the end of the season.

The German giants may be reluctant to lose two marquee players during the same transfer window unless a significant bid arrives.

It has been reported that it would take a bid of at least £86m to test Dortmund's stance on Bellingham next summer.
