Van de Beek wants United exit

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek could pursue a new challenge away from the club in January.

The Netherlands international had a tough debut season last term, managing just over 500 minutes in the Premier League.

His situation has not changed this season. He has registered just six minutes of playing time from the opening six league games.

According to The Mail, the Dutchman is frustrated with his situation, and will seek an exit when the transfer window reopens.

Van de Beek was the subject of a loan proposal from Everton this summer, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked his potential exit.

He was assured more minutes across all competitions, but Van de Beek has hardly played with just three appearances so far.

He has recently been dropped from the Netherlands squad for the second time running, and he needs game time to get back in.

With the World Cup next winger, Van de Beek appears desperate to leave the Red Devils soon to avoid missing out on the tournament.
