Manchester United want Monaco star to replace Paul Pogba?
Manchester United consider Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni as a potential replacement for midfielder Paul Pogba next season.
Pogba has not signed a new contract with United beyond next summer, and his agent Mino Raiola has already offered him to Barcelona.
The 28-year-old can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club in January. United are running out of time to sort out a renewal.
According to ESPN, United view Tchouameni as a potential replacement for Pogba if heads through the exit door next summer.
The report adds that Monaco are willing to sell the promising midfielder for a fee between €50m (£42.2m) and €60m (£50.6m).
Tchouameni had his breakout campaign with Monaco last term, and he is now a regular with the France national team as well.
He recently starred in the Nations League final against Spain, and has been touted for a big club move in the near future.
Chelsea and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.
