Rudiger to leave Chelsea next summer

Antonio Rudiger is resigned to leaving Chelsea when his contract expires at the end of the campaign, The Athletic claims.

The Germany international has been a key player under manager Thomas Tuchel, but he could be on the move.

Rudiger wants around £200,000-a-week to renew his deal, but the hierarchy are reluctant to offer him more than £150,000 weekly.

This has stalled negotiations between both parties, and the centre-back is now resigned to leaving the club next summer.

He can sort out his future as early as January. The former Roma man will be free to discuss a pre-contract with a foreign club.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all in the running to sign him on a free transfer.

Real Madrid are touted as favourites to land his signature as they are prepared to hand him a significant signing-on fee.

The Blues plan to hold fresh talks with the German in the coming weeks, but the defender appears unlikely to change his demands.
