Everton chase Arshavin

Everton have been linked with a move for Andrei Arshavin, Zenit's international midfielder. Arshavin has also been linked with a move to Newcastle.

However, it seems David Moyes may have told his board that he would like to sign Arshavin as his primary target summer.

The Russian could be available for £7 million, but Zenit St Petersburg are known to be keen to hang on to their star player.

The lure of the Premiership is likely to prove too much for Arshavin to turn down.
