Predicted Manchester United line-up vs Tottenham

Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur on the road in today's Premier League clash. The Red Devils will be keen to return to winning ways, having failed to win their previous four league games.

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has been sublime between the sticks for United this term, making several standout saves. He is expected to continue in goal ahead of Dean Henderson.

The backline is expected to see a solitary change from the 5-0 rout at the hands of Liverpool. Raphael Varane is fit after a groin injury, and the Frenchman should come in to replace Victor Lindelof.

In midfield, there could be a complete reshuffle with Scott McTominay and Fred dropping to the bench. With Paul Pogba suspended, Nemanja Matic would be a likely starter, and he could be accompanied by Donny van Beek.

The Dutchman has played just six minutes of top-flight football this term, but he could be brought in to the mix with United needing more progression into the final third from their midfielders.

In attack, a single change could be on the cards. Jadon Sancho may come in his preferred right-back wing position ahead of Mason Greenwood. The latter has netted four goals in nine outings, but he could be the odd man out as Marcus Rashford appears unlikely to be dropped.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Van de Beek, Matic; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo.
